The flight from Manchester to Toronto only takes 7 hours which isn't too long. Luckily I don't mind flying the only troubles I occasionally have is being so tall I can get a little cramped . The Air Transat plane was fantastic tho and I had a very pleasant journey over the "pond" .
Day 1
I arrived on a Monday at dinner time and was greated by a friend and we went straight to the keg mansion for dinner . I had never heard of the Keg chain and apparently the mansion is one of their most famous . I'd definitely recommend going here as the food was really nice, I had a Sante Fe chicken starter and their specialty steak for main it was delicious
Day 2
Was probably one of the coolest days of my life . I started the day by hitting Bloor Street for a bit of retail therapy . I loved Holt Renfrew which I'd say is similar to Selfridges in the UK and also Harry Rosen where the sales assistants were probably the nicest and most helpful I have ever encountered .
I took these two photos whilst doing some sightseeing , I find photos where the sun is reflecting off the buildings look so good .
The evening was one of the best experiences of my life. I was taken for dinner at the CN Tower 360 restaurant which really did take my breathe away
So the first two days were pretty crazy, my next blog post I'll talk about my trip out of the city and over to Niagara . Thanks for reading
The food was fanastic and I'd definitely recommend having dinner rather than just going up to the viewing platform , relaxed settings and over the course of dinner we revolved completely around twice . Try to book for around sunset for an even better experience .
After dinner we took a short walk to the Fairmont Royal York hotel . Relaxed drinks in bar Epic near the lobby was a great way to end the evening . The interior of this hotel is stunningly beautiful and I will definitely be staying here at least once in my lifetime
